February 19th, 2009The SBC will be having its first annual general meeting on March 1, starting around 6pm.
Since the meeting will take place at Sooke Cycle, (6707 West Coast Rd.) arrival time is pretty casual. SBC business will start to occur at 7:30pm and we hope to wrap the official things up within a half hour.
SBC memberships will be available at the meeting, and will get you legal for the Island Cup. Price TBA.

The purpose of the Sooke Bike Club is to:

• build a friendly and organized local mountain bike community through events to engage youth and encourage them to take up mountain biking
- • assist land managers/owners in their efforts to include mountain biking on trail systems in their lands
- • provide volunteerism in the building and maintenance of mountain bike trail systems
- • promote Sooke and its trail systems to the global mountain bike community
